Your holiday starts amongst the spectacular ruins of Rome at the Esh Executive Style Hotel, a four-star hotel located just a 5 minutes from historic city centre and from Vatican City. From famous historic sites to relatively obscure catacombs, basilicas, fountains and museums, the Eternal City has many things to offer, as city landmarks go hand in hand with vibrant city nightlife.
The second half of your trip will be spent in the beautiful city of Venice, which you will travel to by train. The capital of the Veneto region and listed as a World Heritage Site, Venice is set on a group of 118 small islands separated by a labyrinth of canals and linked by century-old bridges. Colonnaded squares, domes and arches can be seen while on a sleek motorboat or during a gondola ride that will carry visitors through the city’s main waterways.
Location
In a central and peaceful location in Venice, in the Cannaregio district (called by this name from Canal Regio that connects the Canal Grande to the Laguna), heart of authentic Venice, the Hotel Giorgione is close to Rialto and to Cà d’Oro and extremely close to piazza San Marco.
From the hotel you can reach the Ponte di Rialto in only 5 minutes, the lively commercial heart of Venice, with typical gold-making and souvenir shops under the arches. The colorful fruit and vegetable markets are held at the foot of the bridge along with fish shops.
Piazza San Marco is only a 10 minute pleasant walk along narrow streets and small squares, filled with shops and boutiques for both elegant and typical shopping. The heart of faith and once the heart of power of the Serenissima (the old Republic of Venice), piazza San Marco has always given great emotions. The Basilica of San Marco, framed by arcades of the Procuratoria and the Basin of San Marco, wonderful fifth perspective between Palazzo Ducale (Doges’ Palace) and Libreria Marciana (Marciana Library), is a sight to behold.

The Tour
A romantic 'promenade' by gondola that will take you along the canals of Venice. A fantastic opportunity to travel along Venice's waterways looking up at the fabulous mediaeval palaces that line these historic thoroughfares and down to see their shimmering reflections dancing on the surface of the water. This cruise through the city's most secluded waterways passing under small bridges will help you appreciate the special quality of this floating city.
Includes
English speaking assistant from the meeting point to the gondola station; jump the queue gondola ride (about 30 minutes) without musicians; map with description of palaces along the cruise. Please note that children under 2 years old are free of charge ONLY if they do not occupy a seat of gondola but stay in their parents' arms.

You are requested to be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the departure of the tour. The tour is subject to weather conditions. In case the tour is not running you will be offered an alternative. If this is not convenient then the tour will be refunded. Please note that Gondola Ride will be shared with other people. Each gondola can guest maximum 6 people; the seat on board cannot be chosen but it will be assigned by the gondolier depending of guests weight.
