Day 1 Rome

Fly from UK to Rome and stay overnight.

With an abundance of whimsical piazzas and significant historical sites practically on your doorstep, when in Rome we recommend packing your selfie stick and your camera, and doing as the Romans do! Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned visitor, there's always something new to see and do! Not least, the world famous Colosseum - perhaps the definitive symbol of Rome's fascinating culture and history - taking a tour and walking in the shadows of the brave gladiators is simply a must-do. Relive the Renaissance by opting for a tour of the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican, the world’s smallest state with an abundance of stunning artwork. Also drop by the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the 2000 year old Egyptian Pyramid of Cestius and for some luck, the Trevi Fountain. Once you’ve seen the sights, if you’re a foodie you’ll want to try the unbeatable local street food – opt for one of the lively restaurants selling local delicacies from potent pasta plates to tasty tiramisus, a great way to get a taste of the city! Fantastico!

Day 2 Rome

Continue exploring Rome and stay overnight.

Tour

Choose to include a Skip-The-Queue Colosseum and Ancient Walking Tour for £41pp.

Day 3 Venice

Venice hardly needs an introduction. Whether you've visited before or have never been, there's always something new to see and do, with sights such as Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square not to be missed. For many though, the charm of the city can be found even in the smallest things as a wander through the winding cobbled streets offers a vision of the real Venice, complete with its wonderful artisanal shops and delicatessens. The city is also a dream for cultural buffs, with a seemingly endless supply of fascinating museums and refined art galleries dotted all over, including the breath-taking Gallerie dell'Accademia! Of course, when in Venice, top of anyone's to-do list is a gondola ride through the mesmerising labyrinth of canals that divides the unique city; we recommend opting for a serenaded experience to gain those extra brownie points with your loved one. Indulging on homemade gelato, watching the world go by from alfresco cafes and relishing in the city’s history is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what you can look forward to…

Tour

Choose to include a Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour for £18pp.
